Dragonfly No4 was found in a
boat yard in Woodbridge Suffolk November 2002, she was in a terrible state
painted white and red with many broken ribs, rotten deck, and mast. After 6
month, with many days and night spent in a cold shed she was sailing and
racing. The idea has been to continue the restoration whilst enjoying racing
her, this winters projects are to replace the mast and boom and repair the
damage after a hard racing year.
No 4 is not the fastest boat
in the fleet but she gives me great pleasure to sail her and to see her on the water after
so many long hours work.
